Texas Discovery Gardens will present Beauty and the Landscape, featuring artist and professor Melodee Martin Ramirez. Ramirez draws on her transformative experiences in nature to create large-scale oil paintings. From realistic landscapes to the more abstract, her work reflects travels throughout Texas. Emotion and vibrant color runs through each painting, many of which reach up to four feet wide.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through December 31.
