Texas Discovery Gardens will celebrate the 5th birthday of their Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House & Insectarium. There will be special crafts and activities, from 10 am to 3 pm, as well as interactive fun with longtime friends of the gardens. See silkworms, native butterflies and other cool creatures up close.

There will also be giveaways that visitors can enter to win, including a pair of tickets on Southwest Airlines worth up to $800. Stop by the Discovery Gallery between 1 and 3 pm for the Opening Reception for the art exhibit, “Beauty and the Landscape,” featuring expansive paintings by Melodee Martin Ramirez.
