eventdetail

In celebration of its 85th Anniversary, The Texas Theatre will be showing the same program they ran that night of April 21, 1931. The event will feature a 16mm movietone news reel, a 16mm Mickey Mouse cartoon, and a 35mm presentation of the the Buster Keaton feature Parlor, Bedroom & Bath.

The $0.35 admission price for the first 100 people gets you a replica of the actual Texas Theatre program from April 21, 1931, which was proclaimed to be "Dallas's Finest Show."

But that's not all!  If you have ever been up to the Safe Room At The Theatre you may have asked - "What the hell is in that safe?" And until now, they have not been able to tell us - but after the feature at 9:30 pm, they will be live streaming the opening of what may be Howard Hughes' biggest secret. They will open it with professional safecrackers right before your very eyes or via a live stream.
