Sixty women artists from across Texas take center stage at the annual Vignette Art Fair, which has a mission to promote, support, and connect Texas women in the arts.
The juried show is curated by Alison de Lima Greene, Isabel Brown Wilson Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
The fair will feature 98 works, from collages, wood works and laser-cut paper kudzu to archival pigment prints, painting, and photography. Most significantly, 100 percent of all sales proceeds go directly to the artists.
Founded in 2017 by Jessica Ingle, Texas Vignette works to close the gender disparity gap as women artists continue to be underrepresented in museum exhibitions, acquisitions and galleries compared to their male counterparts.
