A group of more than 175 area tuba, sousaphone, euphonium, and baritone players will present the 39th annual Dallas concert of holiday carols. Jack Delaney, Director of Bands and Professor of Music at Southern Methodist University, will serve as the 2016 Guest Conductor, and WFAA’s Brett Shipp will be Master of Ceremonies again this year.
All area tuba, sousaphone, euphonium and baritone players are cordially invited to join the performance. Performers are encouraged to dress in weather-appropriate attire and bring a music stand. Registration and rehearsal will take place the morning of the performance at Thanks-Giving Square.
