Four of opera’s most brilliant young conductors are front and center for an evening of opera selections, sung by some of the country’s top singers and featuring The Dallas Opera Orchestra.
Leading the orchestra will be four women who were previously chosen to participate in the institute: Celia Llácer Carbonell (Spain), Yuwon Kim (South Korea), Blair Salter (Canada), and Anna Sułkowska–Migoń (Poland).
Selections from Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Bizet’s Carmen, Puccini’s Tosca, and Jake Heggie’s Dead Man Walking will be brought to life by some of the country’s leading artists, including cast members from The Dallas Opera’s upcoming production of Das Rheingold.
Featured artists include Joseph Barron, Aaron Blake, Lindsay Kate Brown, Erik Earl Larson, Hannah Ludwig, Courtney Maina, Diana Newman, Spencer Reichman, Karen Slack, and Robert Stahley.
