The Dallas Opera will present their annual People’s Choice Concert, featuring some of the opera’s most famous tunes. Audiences will hear music from Pagliacci, Porgy and Bess, La forza del destino, and more, including a sneak preview of music from Dallas Opera’s upcoming season-opening production, Tosca.
As always, the audience will vote for the encore. The concert will feature internationally celebrated singers soprano Ewa Płonka, tenor Joseph Calleja, and baritone Gihoon Kim, who also appear in Tosca.
The Dallas Opera’s Eugene McDermott Music Director Emmanuel Villaume leads The Dallas Opera Orchestra while The Kern Wildenthal General Director and CEO Ian Derrer hosts.
