Dallas Is Lit! will feature a dozen exciting experiences showcasing the literary and cultural community of Dallas, including a conversation with 3x US Poet Laureate Joy Harjo, live performance of Langston Hughes' "The Weary Blues" with jazz accompaniment, a community book and author fair, a late-night poetry slam featuring local poets, a multilingual poetry performance and story times, readings, panels, and more.
