Internationally recognized for the breadth and scope of his artistic vision, Shen Wei is a prolific choreographer and stage director; set, costume, lighting and make-up designer; painter; and filmmaker. He is perhaps best known as the lead choreographer for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, which won worldwide acclaim.
