The TMBBQ Road Trip rolls in for a daylong eat-a-thon at three of Dallas' hottest barbecue joints. Guests will hop aboard a 55-passenger motor coach at 9 am (bus departs at 9:30 from Pecan Lodge, 2702 Main Street), mosey over to McKinney for breakfast at Hutchins BBQ, then ramble on to Plano’s Lockhart Smokehouse for lunch, and finally—nearly stuffed but not yet satisfied—wrap up with an afternoon feast at Pecan Lodge.

In between each pit stop, barbecue editor Daniel Vaughn will regale guests with behind-the-scenes tales of assembling the magazine’s anointed list of the 50 best barbecue joints in the state, divulge best-kept secrets of the barbecue trade, and disseminate the how-tos of spying (and then savoring) a perfect slice of brisket.

Tickets are $150; price includes beverages on the bus, plus one meal and beverage at each barbecue joint. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
