The Torch Relay for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is a multi-day event that traverses the country each fall, with participants walking, running and cycling to raise funds for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

The Dallas/Fort Worth Torch Relay is a 3 Mile Walk. Walking alongside friends, family and co-workers, participants in Fort Worth will be raising money for the Cook Children’s and Children’s Medical Center. Cook Children’s in Fort Worth and Children’s Medical Center in Dallas are two of 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals that treat 17 million children each year.

Last year’s event the Dallas/Fort Worth Torch-Relay Team raised $39,000 bringing the national total in 2013 to more than $900,000. The goal of the 2014 Dallas/Fort Worth Torch Relay is $50,000 and the overall relay goal is to raise $1.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the country.
