Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation presents Lone Star Bash

Some of Dallas’ hottest chefs are teaming up with the Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation to "laissez les bon temps roulez" at the third annual Lone Star Bash to raise money for Texas ProStart and other TRAEF initiatives. This year’s theme is "CajunTex," a celebration of Cajun and Creole cuisine, Texas-style.

Guests will enjoy chef-prepared bites from well-known Dallas chefs, as well as a wide assortment of craft beers and cocktails. Chefs will include:

  • Abraham Salum - Salum
  • Lee Taylor - Prohibition Chicken
  • Henry Gentry - Henry's Ice Cream
  • Sharon Van Meter - 3015 at Trinity Groves 
  • Scott Nakachi - Paul Martin's American Grill
  • Anastacia Quinones - Oddfellows
  • Richard Chamberlain - Chamberlain's
  • Gianni Santin - Haute Sweets Patisserie
  • Jeffrey Hobbs - The Slow Bone
  • Daniel Pittman - LUCK
  • Mark Sciuchetti - Paul Martin's
  • Nikky Phinyawatana - Asian Mint
  • Ernie Quilantan - E Bar Tex-Mex
  • Kyle Cowan - Water Grill
  • Chris West - Blue Top Sauce

There will also be live music from Jay-B & the Zydeco Posse, an exciting blend of creole, hip-hop, soul, and reggae with a strong blues influence.
