Trinity River Audubon Center will present Birds and Brew. Audubon is partnering up with Bolsa Mercado and Texas Ale Project to produce this fun, informative and social evening.

Guests will have the opportunity to take guided owl prowl night hikes, meet live birds from Window to the Wild, make s’mores, participate in games and fun nature-themed activities, visit with artists, hear lectures from local conservation experts, and have delicious food and drink.

The event will feature two guest speakers. Audubon’s own Dr. Tania Homayoun will discuss how our lives intersect with birds, share great adventures in birding, and talk about how to get yourself addicted to one of America’s most popular hobbies. Author, conservationist and Environmental Biology Professor Naïma Montacer will give tips and tricks for real life sustainable living.

Featured artists include Eddie Brassart of Fort Worth, whose whimsical and witty animal portraits will delight and inspire. Winners from the Trinity River Photography Contest will also be on display, and guests can learn about participating in the contest this year.
