In 2018, the Turtle Creek Chorale embarked on a new effort to raise awareness of suicide and to shine a light on mental health, shame, and self esteem. The concert series, “You Are Light,” was a reminder for all of us to take care of those around us, and ourselves. This is the second installment of that effort, a major event in collaboration with the full Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
This monumental concert will feature music designed to lift attendees up, remind us all that we are not alone, and inspire and move us to create a more healthy world. Featuring familiar works and new pieces for choir and orchestra, the audience will leave not only inspired, but better equipped to make a difference in their families and families of choice.
