As part of its Fine Arts Series, The University of North Texas will present a performance by One O'Clock Orchestra with Kenny Werner Trio.
Renowned pianist and composer Kenny Werner will perform with bassist Johannes Weidenmueller and drummer Ari Hoenig, who studied at UNT in the 1990s and was the drummer for the One O’Clock Lab Band. The trio is known for their improvisation. Werner’s work No Beginning No End won the 2010 Guggenheim Fellowship Award. This concert is jointly funded along with the Glenn E. Gomez International Artists Endowment for Jazz Studies.
