The Urban Artist Market features the work of more than 75 regional artisans and attracts hundreds of art patrons.
Urban Artist Market opens with a Best of Show reception and fundraiser benefiting the mission of the Emergency Artists’ Support League (EASL). Attendees will view the work of the Best of Show awardees in the lobby, get early access to the show floor, while enjoying live music, drinks and appetizers. They will also be able to participate in the silent auction which raises funds for EASL.
On Saturday, activities scheduled throughout the day include unique Mother’s Day art workshops led by some of Dallas’ most talented teachers. Children’s workshops are sponsored by the Creative Arts Center.
The Urban Artist Market has adjusted their schedule to provide longer show floor hours with less condensed traffic. On Friday, July 17, the show will be open from 1-8 pm. On Saturday, July 18, the show will open 10 am-12 pm to provide early shopping access for immune compromised and those 65 years of age and up. The show will remain open from 12-6 pm for the general public. In addition, the event will be selling a limited amount of tickets for each two-hour time slot to reduce capacity to 50 percent.
