The recent tornadoes in the DFW area have devastated local neighborhoods. A fundraiser will be held uniting many local charities, philanthropic organizations, and generous businesses and neighbors. Funds raised from the event, including ticket sales, will go directly to Good Samaritans of Garland, which has set up a fund to help those affected by the tornadoes get back on their feet.
Hosted by Nawkr, a new Dallas based social networking app, and Urban Scene, the fundraiser aims at celebrating the spirit of DFW. Urban Scene will transform one of Dallas’ premier luxury residences into a one night pop-up art gallery featuring the best local artists in DFW. A portion of the proceeds from the art sold will be donated to Good Samaritans of Garland as well. There will be small bites, live entertainment, and beverages - all from the DFW community.
