Valley House Gallery will present an Artist Talk by Michael O'Keefe about his solo exhibition, "Excavations of Form / Archaeology of Feelings." O'Keefe will discuss new works developed over the past three years, including his series of life-size abstract figurative sculptures constructed in sculpting epoxy, his process and drawings for his monumental bronze portrait of the pianist Van Cliburn, his series of monochromatic collages titled Faces that Want for Refuge, and his 50 drawings in the series Conversations With Ancient Stones resulting from his creative collaboration with the ancient relief sculptures that adorned the Parthenon in Athens, Greece.
