The Fourteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition

Just three months after Van Cliburn passed away, the quadrennial piano competition that bears his name will hold its 14th edition. Every four years, 30 of the finest young pianists in the world come to Fort Worth to compete for the opportunity to achieve their utmost dream: to become a performing artist on the world stage.

Preliminary rounds will take place on Friday, May 24, semifinals on Saturday, June 1 and Finals from Thursday, June 6 through Sunday, June 9. An awards ceremony will take place after the final competition on Sunday, June 9.
