From mystical legends to celebratory rituals, Verdigris Ensemble, in collaboration with Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico and cultural artist Ofelia Faz-Garza, opens a portal into the spirit world to celebrate with our ancestors. Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico evokes our ancestors through original choreography and movement. Cultural artist Ofelia Faz-Garza honors the dead through colorful ofrendas.

Audiences are encouraged to bring remembrances such as flowers, photos, food, candles to put on ofrendas for the duration of the performance.
