Returning for its second year, Day 1 Dallas is a family fair designed for children and families to celebrate New Year’s Day together. The event will feature interactive children’s activities, crafts and games and a spectacular fireworks show.
Day 1 Dallas will offer activities that kids of all ages will love, including:
- A Lego area with with Big Bricks, Technic, 3D, Mosaics & Robotics PLUS creations on display from the DFW Lego Users Group
- A petting zoo featuring more than 20 exotic animals, including lemurs and baby kangaroos
- Circus training by the Circus Freaks
- A real snow hill for making snowballs and sledding and an exciting zip line
- A science safari with 14 different STEM activities
- Photos with Star Wars characters
- Performances by a magician and a mentalist
- Live music from local acts
New this year, the event will also feature Fireworks, Food & Fun from 5-7 pm. A donation to Vogel Alcove grants entry for live music, food & drinks from local food trucks (purchased separately) and fireworks.
As an added value, everyone who purchases an adult ticket for Day 1 Dallas will receive a We D1D It Family Experience card, a new card offering family-friendly deals and special promotions from partners throughout the year.
