The Volunteer Center of North Texas will celebrate volunteerism at Voly in the Park, a fun and inspiring public event to kick off Voly.org, a new socially interactive website connecting volunteers and organizations with only a click. Miss Texas will share her volunteer experience, and sports and arts personalities will be on hand to “volunteer” their expertise, sharing how-tos and inspirational stories. A variety of non-profit groups, from North Texas Food Bank to Salvation Army to Paws and many more will be there. There will be food, dance, music and more.
