VolunteerNow will present Voly in the Park, a volunteerism festival featuring hands-on volunteer projects, live entertainment, and 75 nonprofits in need of volunteers. On-site activities include creating pet enrichment toys with the SPCA of Texas, creating “junk art” with Keep Dallas Beautiful, hanging out with a mini horse from Equest, building homeless kits with OurCalling, and more.
Participating nonprofits include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Dallas Arboretum, Genesis Women's Shelter, Literacy Instruction for Texas, Resource Center, and Ronald McDonald House. Attendees will also have the opportunity to create a free profile on VOLY.org, where they can connect with more than 3,000 nonprofits, including those at Voly in the Park.
