Von Trapp Benefit Concert honoring WWll Vets and Holocaust Survivors

Daughters of World War II and World Affairs Council will host an evening of music to honor WW II Veterans and Holocaust survivors on the 69th anniversary of V-E Day. Vocalist Elisabeth von Trapp, granddaughter of the legendary Maria and Baron von Trapp, whose story inspired The Sound of Music, will perform a benefit concert. Von Trapp's father and uncle both served in the Army in World War II.

Reservations are required. World War II Veterans and Holocaust Survivors are complimentary. Daughters of WWII and World Affairs members and guests are $25. All others are $50. For reservations, Veterans and Holocaust Survivors should contact kathrynswisher@daughtersofww2.org or call 469-278-5535.
