World Affairs Council of Dallas Fort Worth Luncheon with Dr. Rick Hodes

Dr. Rick Hodes is the noted American doctor with a Dallas connection who went to Ethiopia during the 1980s famine and stayed to help children fight disease. Dr. Hodes and his work were featured in the 2008 HBO documentary Making the Crooked Straight. He is also the subject of a 2010 book by journalist Marilyn Berger, This Is A Soul: The Mission of Rick Hodes.

He will be the featured speaker at the Council luncheon program, titled "Practicing Medicine in Ethiopia.”
