Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm will host Make Music Allen to celebrate International Make Music Day. Even though social distancing measures will be in place, everyone will still have the opportunity to make music together.
The celebration will feature live musical performances from 3-8 pm and virtual events all day, including free music lessons and more. To ensure the safety of both guests and performers, the live music portion has been scaled down and musical groups are limited to solos, duos, and trios. Whether rock-and-roll or Bach, all musical tastes and talents are welcome. Musicians can register here to participate.
On the virtual side of things, guests can participate in events like Bash the Trash and Virtual Shower Singing. Go here for a full list of events. Anyone who's always wanted to learn to play an instrument is in luck as music teachers from around the world will be teaching individuals how to play 25 different instruments. Watters Creek will also be handing out free Hohner harmonicas.
