The White Rock Lake Foundation will present its second annual Jewel of Dallas Gala to help raise money for the ongoing restoration of Winfrey Point.
The gala will feature big band music and cuisine from some of the area’s finest restaurants. There also will be live and silent auctions to help raise money for the White Rock Lake Foundation and its stewardship of the lake, known as the "Jewel of Dallas."
The gala begins with a VIP reception starting an hour earlier. Guests will enjoy an exclusive menu prepared by some of the city’s top chefs, with raffles, live and silent auctions, and music by Ricki Derek and his 15-piece Big Band.
Participating restaurants and chefs include: Mot Hai Ba – Chef Peja Krstic; Sfuzzi – Chef Irwin; Goodwin’s – Chef Jeff Bekavic; Quarter Acre – Chef Toby Archibald; Gemma – Chef Stephen Rogers; Revolver Taco – Chef Gino Rojay; and Hypnotic Emporium – Owner Billy Odell.
