Whole Foods Market at Preston and Forest will host a conversation on conscious capitalism between John Mackey, co-CEO of Whole Foods Market, and Kip Tindell, CEO of The Container Store. They will discuss a way of thinking about the higher purpose of a business, its relationships with interconnected stakeholders and the impact it has on the world.

The discussion and audience Q&A will be followed by a book signing of Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the Heroic Spirit of Business by Mackey, co-author of the book.

Books will be available for sale at the event, and profits from books sold at Whole Foods Market will go to the Whole Planet Foundation®, which supports poverty alleviation and entrepreneurship through microcredit in developing countries. Mackey will also donate his royalties to the Foundation.
