The Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum will present "Designing Women/Artistic Vision," a Writer’s Garden Literary Symposium & Luncheon.

Featured authors will include Judith B. Tankard, an independent scholar specializing in British and American landscape history who will discuss her forthcoming book Gertrude Jekyll at Munstead Wood; Meryle Secrest, an award-winning author who will discuss her recently published book Elsa Schiaparelli: A Biography; and Diane Dorrans Saeks, a best-selling author, editor, design lecturer and feature writer who will present her book, Ann Getty: Interior Style, the first-ever compilation of the luxurious interiors from the influential designer and philanthropist.
