Fareed Zakaria, CNN's influential voice on global and national issues, will be the featured speaker when the World Affairs Council of Dallas-Fort Worth honors its Seventh Annual International Educator of the Year.

The 2014 International Educator of the Year is Cecilia Nipp, the Director of Global Relationships and Cultural Exchange at Ursuline Academy of Dallas. She is a veteran educator who serves on the Council's International Education Program Advisory Committee.

Dr. Zakaria's topic, "Globalization: A New World," reflects the mission of the Council's highly regarded International Education Program, i.e., helping students and teachers reach beyond the classroom and the campus to learn about the world, understand global issues and benefit from international opportunities.
