World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth presents Dr. Robert Gates

Dr. Robert Gates has become familiar with the dynamics of leadership during his more than 50-year career in public service, including key positions in White House administrations and on major college campuses and as president of the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Gates will discuss his remarkable career and what inspires people to become leaders when he addresses a World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth program.

Dr. Gates is author of the recently published A Passion For Leadership: Lessons on Change and Reform from Fifty Years of Public Service. He has been Director of the CIA, Secretary of Defense and President of Texas A&M University. Currently he serves as Chancellor of the College of William & Mary and as president of the Boy Scouts of America. He was Secretary of Defense in the presidential administrations of both George W. Bush and Barak Obama.
