Central Market kicks off their Passport Brasil festival with a sampling of traditional dishes prepared by chef Yara Castro Roberts. Roberts has hosted PBS’ Cooks Tour series and been featured in The New York Times and her plates include bobo, a shrimp stew with plantains served with acaca, a rice flour polenta as well as grilled chicken with farofa, or manioc flour with dried fruit. Tickets are $35 and the event begins with a reception at 6:15.
