He specializes in live looping, the recording and playback of music in real time. His freshly reimagined arrangements of contemporary songs span a wide range of genres, from rock, pop and soundtrack hits. A former high school history teacher, Merek released his debut solo album of original instrumental compositions, “The Tao Less Traveled,” in 2017.
Mark Landson’s popular band, Classically Jazzed, turns classical masterpieces into electric jazz works by substituting the typical orchestra of the early 1700s with a modern jazz combo.
