Pet of the Week
Angel the adoptable cat has plenty of joy for her new home
From last week, Petunia is still waiting for her forever home. But former featured pets Agnes and Shy have been adopted. This week meet Angel, who was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas more than two months ago because her previous owners had too many animals.
Could Angel be your next pet? Only one way to find out.
Breed: Domestic shorthair mix
Age: 1 year
Weight: 6 pounds
Personality: She can start off shy but warms right up. Her name suits her because she's a real sweetheart who will bring lots of joy to her new family. Her hobbies include lounging in a comfy bed, napping and gazing out the window.
Vital stats: Angel has been spayed, FeLV/FIV tested (she’s negative) and microchipped, and she received her age-appropriate vaccinations.
Come meet Angel (#123211) today at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
