Dallas police arrest serial rapist wanted for 3 attacks
Dallas police have arrested Jesus Alalid Madrid-Dubon in connection with three unsolved sexual assaults. Madrid-Dubon, 27, has been charged with one count of aggravated kidnapping, and police said they plan to file additional charges for aggravated sexual assault early next week. His bond has been set at $1 million.
The arrest stems from an allegation that on February 4, Madrid-Dubon forced a minor into his car at gunpoint and sexually assaulted her in the 7600 block of Sovereign Row. Police believe Madrid-Dubon is also responsible for an attack in that location on January 7. His first assault dates back to August 24, 2013, in the 1000 block of R.L. Thornton Freeway.
"Physical evidence was collected in both of these offenses and submitted for analysis," police said in a statement. "Results are pending."
Dallas police will continue to investigate other unsolved cases to determine if Madrid-Dubon is responsible for other attacks. They have ruled out his involvement in an August 13 offense.
