Pet of the Week
Petunia the pretty shepherd pup wants to win the race to your heart
Former featured pets Agnes and Shy are still available for adoption. But Lucky the Chihuahua mix got lucky and found a new family. This week meet Petunia, who was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on November 12 because she did not fit in with her previous owner's lifestyle.
Does she fit into yours? Here's everything you need to know:
Breed: Shepherd mix
Age: 11 months
Weight: 66 pounds
Personality: Petunia is an active girl who loves to run, play and chase tennis balls. In fact, keep away is her favorite pastime. As a growing pup, she has lots of energy.
Vital stats: She has been spayed, heartworm tested (she’s negative) and microchipped, and she has received her age-appropriate vaccinations.
If you want more fun in your life, come meet Petunia (#112709) today at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
