Dallas 2012 in tweets: Museum Tower melee, mosquito infestation and Lamar Odompit stop
Roughly 365 days ago, Dallas residents had scarcely given thought to the likes of Lamar Odom, George P. Bush or a certain Colorado Springs superintendent named Mike Miles.
But a lot can change in a year. Take a walk down memory lane via the Twittersphere as we recall the year in tweets.
I'm not from Dallas but I D Town boogie!
— LAMAR ODOM (@RealLamarOdom) January 4, 2012Unfortunately, Lamar Odom's excitement for Big D was short-lived — and possibly just a Twitter phenomenon.

— Mike Miles (@MMilesDISD) August 24, 2012This tweet was said in jest, but Dallas ISD superintendent Mike Miles has been on thin ice in 2012, as his choices have been constantly questioned by the public and the board.

Do you know how hard it is to distroy the Dallas Arts District and tweet at the same time? #MuseumTower #sizzlin
— Museum Tower (@FakeMuseumTower) October 31, 2012Jokes and misspellings aside, the Museum Tower vs. Nasher cage match heated up 2012 and is poised to rage on in 2013.
