Survey says Dallas dating scene revolves around steak, sports and the suburbs
If you were planning on scoping out babes at the Farmers Market, then heading to Bishop Arts for a night on the town, you may not know as much about the Dallas dating scene as you think you do.
According to a recent Match.com survey on Dallas, the hottest singles hang out at Central Market, dine at the Mansion on Turtle Creek and love going to Texas Rangers games.

Although those are all pretty standard Dallas activities, a few of the survey's results were surprising. For example, did you know the suburbs are sexy?
A whopping 91 percent of respondents said they'd date someone from North Dallas communities ranging from Preston Hollow to Plano. Uptown residents came in second, with 78 percent of singles willing to take the trolley to find love.
Good news for geeks: The most attractive company in town is Texas Instruments, which beat out macho jobs such as a cattle baron or a professional athlete (the two least desirable professions).
And although local women may not want to date literal or nominal Dallas Cowboys, they don't mind looking at them. The pigskin-toting Boys ranked second in player attractiveness, bested by those strapping Texas Rangers.
