Florence + The Machine crank out Dallas concert date for upcoming tour
Indie rockers Florence + The Machine, hot off the release of their third album in 2015, are coming to American Airlines Center in Dallas on May 18, as part of the How Beautiful concert tour. The North American leg of the tour includes just 15 cities, including Houston on May 17 and Austin on May 19.
Texas fans are witness to early dates, as the tour starts in Miami on May 13 and ends in New York on June 14. Canadian solo artist Grimes serves as the opening act for all three concerts in Texas.
Florence + The Machine had a gigantic 2015: Their new album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, was their first record to hit No. 1 in the United States. They've been huge in their native United Kingdom since they began; all three of their albums reached No. 1 there.
The group is nominated for five awards in the 58th annual Grammys on February 15, including Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for “What Kind of Man” and Best Pop Vocal Album for How Big How Blue How Beautiful.
