Conan O'Brien will bring a slate of Hollywood stars to appear on his show at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas for March Madness. The big names coming to Big D include Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Charles Barkley and comedian Tig Notaro.
Phillip Phillips and the Eli Young Band will perform as musical guests. The week's worth of live shows will run from March 31 to April 3.
The last time O'Brien came to Dallas was in 2010, in between being dumped by NBC from The Tonight Show and starting his new show on TBS. This return to Dallas will be more triumphant, as the road trip precedes Arlington hosting the men's NCAA Final Four at AT&T Stadium.
It's the second year that O'Brien has taken his show to the area holding the college basketball championship; last year it was Atlanta. The reason, of course, is synergy, as TBS will air the two national semifinals for the first time. Those semifinals take place on Saturday, April 5, with the championship game, airing on CBS, happening Monday, April 7.
Tickets to all four shows (which were free) have been claimed. For diehard Team Coco members, there will be a standby ticket line beginning at 8 am each day of taping.
