Dallas Duo Keeps Rockin'
Jackopierce keeps 25th anniversary alive with free concert at Klyde Warren Park

The iconic Dallas duo Jackopierce has been making a big deal out of its 25th anniversary, and the band is going to keep on celebrating with a free concert in conjunction with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra on October 22 at Klyde Warren Park.
The festivities started last September, when Jackopierce played a blow-out concert at Winspear Opera House, bringing in special guests like Patrice Pike, Evan & Jaron and Matt Scannell from Vertical Horizon.
They decided to record that concert, and the resulting album, Live 25, was just released on April 29. The album contains 16 live songs and a studio version of a new song, "This is Our Time," with Pike and Scannell featured on that song as well.
The upcoming concert at Klyde Warren Park will mark the first time the duo has played with a live symphony orchestra. The concert will be a showcase for Live 25, focusing on fan favorites like “Vineyard,” “Three Of Us In A Boat,” “I Gotta Know” and “Promise of Summer.”
The concert will be free and open to the public, but there will be VIP options available for purchase later on this summer.
Klyde Warren Park is looking to be the home away from home for the DSO, as they'll also play two free concerts, one with the Quebe Sisters Band and one with Jeff Tyzik, there this summer as part of their Community Concerts Series.
