The State Fair of Texas, taking place September 28-October 21, has announced the headliners for its free weekend concerts on the Chevrolet Main Stage — a lineup that will include up-and-comers, tribute bands, and classic performers.

Each weekend follows the same general pattern, with a tribute band performing on Fridays, big name acts taking the stage on Saturday nights, and rising stars on Sundays.

The first weekend of the Fair will be highlighted by an evening performance on Saturday, September 29 by legendary funk band Morris Day & the Time. Other performers on opening weekend will be Elvis Presley tribute artist Kraig Parker on Friday, September 28; rising R&B star Sevyn Streeter in the afternoon on Saturday, September 29; and two-time Latin Grammy winner Michael Salgado on Sunday, September 30.

The second weekend will bring two performances by Resurrection — A Journey Tribute on Friday, October 5; country music star Aaron Watson on Saturday, October 6; and pop singer and 22-year-old heartthrob Austin Mahone on Sunday, October 7.

Hip hop icon Chris “Ludacris” Bridges leads the way on the third weekend, performing on Saturday, October 13. There will also be two performances by popular '80s tribute band The Molly Ringwalds on Friday, October 12, with country singer-songwriter Hunter Hayes taking the stage on Sunday, October 14.

The final weekend will be dominated by Latin music, with performances by Selena tribute band Bidi Bidi Banda on Friday, October 19 and Mexican Latin group Banda Carnaval on Sunday, October 21. They'll bookend a performance by the Christian band Casting Crowns on Saturday, October 20.

In addition to the Chevrolet Main Stage, the Fair offers daily live music performances on multiple other stages throughout the grounds. Performers on those stages will include Coffey Anderson, Branch & Dean, Chubby Carrier & the Bayou Swamp Band, Big City Outlaws, Vocal Trash, Rock Bottom Boys, Blane Howard, and Sound Exchange.

All concerts are included with the price of admission.

DroneArt Show: Harry Potter will come to Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium on July 27 and 28.

Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fever are teaming up to present DroneArt Show: Harry Potter, which will come to Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium on July 24-25.

The first-of-its-kind open-air drone spectacle will be on an international tour in 2026, going to multiple cities in the U.S. and Europe as part of the 25 Years of Magic celebrations for the Harry Potter movie series, which started in 2001.

In addition to Grand Prairie, the drone display will go to San Antonio on May 29-30, Austin on June 5-6, and Houston suburb Sugar Land on August 7-8.

According to a release, the 60-minute show will blend advanced drone choreography with the music and iconic moments from the Harry Potter film series, featuring 1,200 illuminated drones soaring across the night sky.

A live violinist will perform as memorable moments from the films are reimagined through aerial displays set to the soundtrack and dialogue from the films.

As part of the experience, attendees will also wear LED wristbands that allow them to interact further with the magic of the performance.

Audiences can also enjoy a celebratory wizarding world-inspired pre-show atmosphere, including food and beverage offerings, as well as Harry Potter merchandise.

Fans can join the waiting list now via the Fever app and website to secure early access to the upcoming dates.
