Opening day is coming for Texas Live, the new entertainment and hospitality district from the city of Arlington with the Texas Rangers and the Cordish Companies. The venue will celebrate its opening with a four-day weekend, from August 9-12, full of entertainment that includes performances by the Toadies, Bleachers, and Kip Moore.

Texas Live is the $250 million dining, entertainment, and hospitality district which includes Arlington Backyard, a 5,000-capacity outdoor event pavilion.

Grand opening festivities for Texas Live will kick off August 9 with national recording artist and Dallas-Fort Worth native Toadies performing on the Arlington Backyard stage. The celebration will continue throughout the weekend, with a lineup of live music, entertainment, events, and activities.

Thursday, August 9

• 7 pm. The Arlington Backyard and Lockhart Smokehouse open to the public.
• 8 pm. Free concert featuring Toadies with Eleven Hundred Springs at Arlington Backyard.
• 8 pm. Live! Arena, PBR Texas, Troy’s, Sports & Social Arlington, and the still-to-be-named signature venue by celebrity chef Guy Fieri open to the public.

Friday, August 10

• 11 am. Texas Live opens to the public.
• 6:05 pm. Official Texas Rangers away game watch party.
