Dallas Comic Con responds to demand and expands Fan Days
Dallas Comic Con puts on multiple big events every year, and its next one — Fan Days at Irving Convention Center — has now been stretched out to three days, October 17-19, in order to fit in all the geeky goodness they have planned.
Much like the main Dallas Comic Con that took place back in May, Fan Days will feature a variety of big-name stars who will meet with their fans, talk about their projects and sign autographs.
This year, that list will include Elijah Wood, aka Frodo from The Lord of the Rings; Dave Bautista, the WWE wrestler who's now a big-time star thanks to playing Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy; Adam West and Burt Ward, Batman and Robin from the original Batman TV series; and Alex Kingston and Paul McGann from Doctor Who.
In addition to the celebrity sightings and autograph sessions, visitors will be able to witness sketch duels from their favorite comic artists, participate in cosplay, play games, shop for merchandise and many other things.
Tickets for Dallas Comic Con's Fan Days are now on sale, with single day tickets ranging from $25-$40 and three-day passes coming in at $60. As bonus, anyone with an adult pass can buy a child pass (ages 6-12) for only $10.
