Rapper-actor Childish Gambino postpones fall tour including Dallas
Rapper Childish Gambino, aka actor Donald Glover, will is hitting the road on a cross-country tour, that will include stop three stops in Texas including American Airlines Center in Dallas on Wednesday, September 11.
UPDATE 9-10-24: I The North American tour has been postponed including the Dallas date. Glover said he was canceling the remainder of the tour "to focus on my physical health for the next few weeks." The shows will be rescheduled, and all tickets will be honored.

The tour will kick off in Oklahoma City on August 11, traveling to 33 cities across the U.S. and Canada in just under two months before heading to Europe and Australia.
In addition to Dallas, other Texas stops on the tour include:
- Houston on September 8 at Toyota Center
- Austin on September 10 at Moody Center
Willow will serve as the opening act on all North American dates.
The tour is in support of Gambino's "new" album, Atavista, which is actually just a reimagined version of his 2020 album, 3.15.20, which he did not consider "finished" at the time of its original release.
The album includes two new songs, including the title song, as well as collaborations with Ariana Grande, 21 Savage, Summer Walker, and Young Nudy. The latter is featured on "Little Foot Big Foot," for which Gambino just put out his first new video in six years.
The last time he came through town was in 2018.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 17 at 10 am local time at thenewworldtour.com.
