Journey and Def Leppard mount mega summer 2024 tour with 3 stops in Texas
Def Leppard will co-headline a tour with Journey in summer 2024.
Iconic rock bands Journey and Def Leppard will be back on the road in 2024, to co-headline a stadium tour for the summer, which will include a stop at Globe Life Field in Arlington on Monday, August 12.
Arlington is one of three Texas cities scheduled on the 23-city North American tour.
They will also play:
- Houston on August 14
- San Antonio on August 16
This is not the first time the two bands have teamed up: They went to the same three cities - albeit in smaller venues - as part of a 2018 tour.
They'll be joined by the Steve Miller Band at all three Texas dates. Other cities will see special guests like Cheap Trick and Heart.
The tour begins in early July, starting out on the East Coast, then dips into Texas before hitting the West.
Although both bands have been around for over 40 years, each has continued to release new music. Def Leppard released their 12th album, Diamond Star Halos, in 2022, while Journey put out their 15th album, Freedom, the same year, their third with lead singer Arnel Pineda.
Registration for access to presale tickets for the tour opens on Thursday, December 7 at 9 am at defleppardjourney2024.com. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Wednesday, December 13 at 10 am through the Citi Entertainment program.
The general public onsale is Friday, December 15 at 10 am.
