Sammy Hagar and rock heavyweights muscle into Dallas as part of 2024 tour
Rock singer Sammy Hagar will lead a supergroup of other rock heavyweights for The Best of All Worlds 2024 tour, which will come to Dallas' Dos Equis Pavilion on Thursday, August 22.
Hagar will be joined on the tour by longtime bandmates Michael Anthony (bass, backing vocals) and Jason Bonham (drums), as well as elite guitarist Joe Satriani. Special guest Loverboy will serve as the opening act.
The 28-date tour will take place in July and August 2024, starting in West Palm Beach, Florida on July 13. In addition to Dallas, the tour will also go to The Woodlands (just outside of Houston) on August 23.
Collectively, Anthony, Satriani, and Bonham have played together in nearly every phase of Hagar’s career, including with Van Halen, Chickenfoot, and The Circle. Fans can expect a setlist which draws from the hits they've created over the last four decades, including "Finish What Ya Started," "Best of Both Worlds," "One Way To Rock," "Right Now," and more.
The 76-year-old Hagar has released 28 albums as either a solo artist or part of a band, with his most recent release being 2022's Crazy Times with Sammy Hagar & The Circle, featuring Anthony and Bonham.
Hagar recently released The Collection II, a box set featuring newly remastered versions of the four consecutive No. 1 albums released during the Hagar era of Van Halen: 5150 (1986), OU812 (1988), For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (1991), and Balance (1995).
Pre-sales for the tour start on Wednesday, November 15 at 10 am, with the general on-sale following on Friday, November 17 at 10 am. For tickets and more details, go to RedRocker.com.
