The Eagles add Dallas-Fort Worth show to extended 2026 farewell tour

The Eagles will play at Globe Life Field in Arlington on May 16.
Rock band the Eagles are making good on the title of their extended farewell tour, The Long Goodbye, with three more stadium dates in 2026, including one at Globe Life Field in Arlington on Saturday, May 16.
One of the bestselling bands of all time, the Eagles started The Long Goodbye tour in 2023, and they've already made two other stops in Texas: Austin and Houston, both in 2024.
This very limited addition will have them play in Atlanta on May 5 and Nashville on May 9, before landing in Arlington on May 16.
Additionally, they have multiple dates scheduled at The Sphere in Las Vegas in February, March, and April.
The Eagles are celebrating their 55th anniversary as a band, having formed in 1971 in Los Angeles.
Lead singer Don Henley is the only original band member remaining, although longtime members Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit still serve as lead guitarist and bass guitarist, respectively.
The band now features the late Glenn Frey's son, Deacon, as well as country music icon Vince Gill.
The Eagles released six studio albums in the 1970s, along with Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975), which is the best-selling album of all time, having sold over 40 million copies through the years.
The band only released one studio album outside of the 1970s, Long Road Out of Eden in 2007.
