Willie Nelson is on the road again as the headliner of the 2023 Outlaw Music Festival Tour, which will stop at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas on Friday, June 30.

The country music legend, who will have turned 90 by the time the tour starts, will travel to at least 16 cities over the summer, with more to be announced at a later date. The first leg of the tour starts on June 23 in Somerset, Wisconsin, and also includes a stop in The Woodlands on July 2.

Nelson will front a rotating lineup of performers that will be different at each stop. Performers in Dallas will include Willie Nelson & Family, Whiskey Myers, Flatland Cavalry, Brittney Spencer, and Particle Kid.

“I can’t wait to be on the road with the amazing group of artists joining us on this year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour,” said Nelson in a statement. “It is always a great day of music and fun with family, friends and the incredible fans, and even more special this year in celebration of my 90th birthday.”

The tireless singer just released his 99th (!) studio album, I Don't Know a Thing About Love, comprised entirely of songs written by Harlan Howard, who gave Nelson his first job as as songwriter.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, March 17, at 10 am via OutlawMusicFestival.com. VIP packages including premium seats and exclusive festival merchandise will be available.

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning on Tuesday, March 14, at 10 am until Thursday, March 16, at 10 pm through the Citi Entertainment program.

Money talks at new interactive Museum of Money in downtown Dallas

The first-ever MoMoney, the Museum of Money, opens in downtown Dallas on February 20, 2026.

Dealing with money is about to become a lot more fun in Dallas when MoMoney, the Museum of Money, opens February 20.

Located at 501 Elm St., a block away from the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, the new permanent experience is designed to change how people think about and engage with money, transforming the invisible forces shaping our financial lives into something visitors can see, touch, and feel, a release says.

“MoMoney is not a lecture, and it is not a traditional museum,” said Houss El Marabti, co-founder of MoMoney, in a statement. “It is a playful, high-energy world built around one simple idea: money is too important to be intimidating and too interesting to be boring.”

Visitors will be able to move through interactive environments designed to make financial concepts memorable through experiences, rather than textbooks.

Experiences range from a currency design station and a laser maze heist to an interactive money lab. Along the way, visitors will find selfie spots, AI fortune tellers, and games for all ages.

There will also be art displays made from money, video games, displays showing how the value of the dollar has changed over the years, and more.

MoMoney’s experience is anchored by three ideas, organizers say:

    • Confidence is learnable, especially when it’s hands-on.
    • Small decisions compound, in money and in life.
    • Money isn’t taboo, it’s a tool, and it should feel approachable.

According to the release, Dallas was selected as the museum’s home due to the city’s culture of ambition, entrepreneurship, and big ideas.

The museum will be open seven days a week, with tickets starting at $25 for children and $30 for adults.

The museum is offering 50 percent off General Admission tickets for opening weekend, February 20-22, for anyone who books online.
