Renowned international skincare brand makes Texas debut with 3 Dallas stores
This is not a fable, it’s a true story: Aesop, a cultish skincare line from Australia, is opening its first standalone stores in Texas, including three stores in Dallas that will open this summer.
The first store in the state opened in Houston, in the Montrose district, in April.
The Dallas stores are located in prime shopping zones, including one locked in at NorthPark Center, where it will be on the first floor in the South Court, next to the Omega watch store and behind Seasons 52 restaurant.
The other two stores are in the Knox-Henderson area and the Bishop Arts district. A company spokesperson was unable to confirm exact addresses, but KnoxDallas.org has the Knox store at 3230 Knox St., in one of the spaces being created in the former Chili's at the corner of Travis Street.
The Bishop Arts location, notes Dallas Metropolis, will open next door to Oddfellows, at 320 W. 7th St., in the space formerly occupied by Just Add Jeans, which has now become the Gypsy House boutique on Tyler Street.
Aesop was founded in Melbourne in 1987 and has stores in most big cities such as New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. It was previously available in Dallas only as a line for sale at select boutiques such as Forty Five Ten.
The company prides itself on its botanical-based, scientifically developed formulas, enhanced by product packaging that's uniform and minimalist. They don't advertise, which contributes to their cult appeal, and their stores always smell good because they burn fragrant oils.
To celebrate their opening, the Texas stores will offer a limited-edition kit comprised of travel-sized versions of their products including cleansers, toners, and hydrating cream.
